Luma training thoughts
Definitely recommend this training if anyone has an opportunity to take it. It is an “agile-ish” way of innovating and breaking down ideas. We can take our questions and ideas, and narrow them down into something that is actionable.
What?
The LUMA System of Innovation is a framework for practicing Human-Centered Design. What is Human-Centered Design? It’s an activities-based way of problem-solving that focuses on people above everything else, whether the challenge is making a better product, process, service, etc.
Why?
We are entering an age in which everyone’s ability to innovate is going to matter as much as their ability to read, write and do basic arithmetic.
Innovation is a growing, global, social, and economic imperative!
Business leaders rank innovation as the 3rd most necessary skill.
81% of fortune 500 companies have appointed an individual responsible for driving innovation.
